Our commitment

Vendo is committed to making its platform usable by people with disabilities. Our target standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, for our public-facing ordering pages and restaurant websites.

What is covered

• Restaurant ordering pages — menu browsing, cart, checkout, order tracking.
• Restaurant websites powered by Vendo — landing pages, content pages, contact details.
• The vendo.pizza marketing site, including these legal pages.

The honest state today

• Public-facing ordering pages are designed with keyboard navigation, screen-reader support, semantic HTML, and color-contrast ratios that meet the AA standard. We regularly catch and fix issues here.
• Administrative dashboards — point-of-sale terminal, kitchen display, menu editor, analytics — may not meet the same standard yet. These are dense operator tools built for fast use, and accessibility work on them is ongoing. We are not going to claim conformance we have not verified.

How we get there

• Accessibility review is part of our development process for every new feature on public pages.
• We test with keyboard-only navigation and with screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA) on the ordering flow.
• We welcome feedback. Real reports from people who use assistive technology are more valuable than internal audits.

Report an accessibility barrier

If you hit an accessibility problem anywhere on a Vendo-powered site, email legal@vendo.pizza with:

• A description of the issue.
• The URL or feature affected.
• The assistive technology you were using, if any (screen reader name and version, browser, operating system).
• How you would prefer us to follow up.

We respond within 5 business days and work with you toward a fix.

Alternative access

If you cannot use a Vendo-powered online ordering system because of a disability, you can place an order directly with the restaurant by phone. The restaurant's phone number is listed on its site.

Standards and disclaimers

This statement applies to the platform Vendo operates. Content uploaded by restaurant operators — menu copy, images, descriptions — is their responsibility. We work with operators on accessibility but cannot guarantee the conformance of every word they type.
